This is that epic fic of epicness I’ve been mentioning sporadically over the months. It’s set in 2011/2012, but it takes certain liberties (Maxie and Spinelli were never really together, Jason turned Sonny in during the FBI stuff in early 2009, various other little stuff, too. Any questions, just ask, kay?) All in all, characters you recognize are not mine, but the new characters are mine. Enjoy!

So, posting from my new laptop, which is taking some serious getting used to. It is an HP something or the other, I forget which and the box isn't in the room with me. It's cool. I've got most of my stuff transferred, and I'm working on installing MS Word and all that now.

In addition to the laptop, I got the Donald Strachey books, a couple of movies, BDS Hoodie, BDS fingerless gloves (and also the realization that my tattoos should be on the other hands, but oh well) and a couple BDS notebooks, because my Dad was having fun on the BoondockStore site, apparently, Supernatural calendar, a Castiel shirt, and then various candy/giftcard items from relatives and such. :3

Well, I emailed all of my professors last night because I am impatient and my school takes eternity to post grades. One of them (music) is apparently a little late to the party, because he doesn't think you're allowed to tell grades over email (which is funny because I've gotten about half of my professors ever to do so. The other one (health) I'm doubting will even reply mostly because I doubt he knows how email works.

Awesome!Prof, however, did reply.

Do you really need to ask about grades? My goodness! If only more students were as concerned about their education as you are! "A" for both, of course ... really appreciate all your effort!

Oh, and by the way, I think your brother earned at least a "B" his attendance at the beginning of the semester was a bit spotty!!!

AND FOR THE OTHER TWO GRADES TO BE POSTED!

"McKinley and Senator Hanna are sitting around going 'SO, what are we gonna do about Roosevelt?' They gotta do something. He's got PR, he was in the war, he's earned the Medal of Honor and he wants it...What can we do? And Senator Hanna says 'Not to fear, I've got the perfect place to hide him. We'll put him in a positing where he will be lost forever because it has absolutely no power, no authority. It is the back water of everything, let's make him... Vice President." - "Just don't get shot." - "That's it. As long as McKinley stays healthy, we're fine. Cause, of course, nothing like that's ever gonna happen, right? Right? Well, in 1901, President McKinley's up in Buffalo and he's shaking hands. Basically, he's standing there for hours going 'Hi, how ya doing? Nice to see you.' Like politicians all do. Cause, I mean, they all look at you and go 'Oh, hi! How ya doing? Nice to see you!' as if they're your long lost brother. And, so, for hours... Then finally, some guy walks by with his right hand all bandaged. McKinley, he starts to reach out with his right hand, but he see's the bandage, so he reaches out with his left and says 'Oh, you poor man,' and the poor man says 'Yes,' and raises his bandaged hand and... fires a bullet into McKinley's stomach. Because in the bandaged hand was a gun.

McKinley lingered for several days, near death. And, finally, he succumbed to his wounds. McKinley died - and he stayed dead - much to the chagrin of Mrs. McKinley, I'm sure.

But, when Senator Mark Hanna, the gentleman who had been the whole power behind McKinley, when he heard that his friend had died, his first words were not 'Poor President McKinley,' or 'Poor Mrs. McKinley.' No, his first words? 'Oh my God, the damn cowboy is in the White House!' Honestly.

Teddy is now the President. And remember now, this is the reason I said, the other day about this, after he sent Admiral Dewey off to the Philippines, he told his friends 'The Secretary of the Navy is away, I am having tremendous fun running the Navy!' Can you imagine his excitement now!? 'Ohboyohboyohboy!!! I got the whole country! Hell, I got the whole world!!!! OHBOY!' I mean, like the hell with that medal of honor deal, I'M PRESIDENT! YAY!"

So, it's been snowing since last night. Really pretty. We've gotten, I dunno, maybe a foot or so. Nash is being goofy - he keeps begging to go out, then he sits/lays on the deck and stares at nothing, or occasionally birds. Last time it snowed, he wouldn't even go outside. Apparently, he changed his mind. Bipolar goofball.

Boondock Saints II was... amazing? Epic? Awesome? Amazawesepic? I dunno. But it was great.

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In March I donated bone marrow to suerum in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last week I gave cynical_sweater a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In September I bought porn for ilovedoyle (10 points). In November I ruled Asscrackistan as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). Last Thursday I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points).
