Wow, it's been a while since I'd posted on here...since I'd COME on here and signed in, actually. Forgotten my password altogether, in fact. LoL

Been getting those alerts from LJ, but never bothered or, mainly, hadn't the time to come in and see. Sowey. ^_^ But since I haven't many friends on here yet, anyways, I don't suppose it mattered. ^_^'

'Sides, most of the peeps I know/see here I see over on dA (DeviantART) regularly, anyways (which is also where I mainly write my journal entries, as well -- Hence the basic zero count here LoL). ^_^

But, yeah! Thought I'd update in THIS new year, just to feel special and slightly consistent, at least. LoL

Made a new friend, too, apparently, without even trying on here, so that's neat-o :)

Also, although most who know me here had already found out long ago on dA in one of my entries, I'm now officially engaged! ^_____________^

On December 25th of 2008, to be exact, and to a very very very VERY wonderful man, who's coming this Wednesday to spend a whole month's vacation time with lil' ol' me, too. :) And we're going to FL together as well, with my family, too, next Saturday for a week and change, so it'll be really fun (especially since it's our first official vacation together and all, in the two years we've been together hehe). ^_^

So, all in all, things are going pretty well for meh ^_~

Glitch/Cain Tin Man Story Challenge

I COMMAND ittttttttttt....LoL

Anyway, so since freaking FF.net ONLY has DG/Cain, DG/CAIN!!!!! more often than not, I've been reading my fill (to the point of losing sleep lol not really) of Glitch/Cain stories over here, because, I am now officially a fan of said stories. And you guys over here (with majority of you also being over on FF.net I see, like myself) can WRITTTTTTTTTTE. ^_^

But I need MORE. And I have yet to read one that really REALLY gets me (which says a lot, honestly, since I've read quite a few that are great). ^_^

So here's my challenge. I was gonna do it, myself, but I'd very much enjoy reading it from someone else. ^_^

I would like it to be more of a Cain/Glitch story, versus Glitch/Cain (since most of those stories have Glitch being the one pining, and secretly in love with Cain, etc, which is fine and realistic some, but I like drama, and "resistant love" if I bother to read romance stories ^_^), and one about Glitch getting his brain back.

Lemme put the guidelines: ^_^

1. Must be Cain/Glitch, as in more of the narrative being focused upon Cain (not ONLY him, but just more insight into HIS mind than Glitch's, etc), and also with Cain doing what he does best (in most TM fics on here and FF.net): thinking of his losses, naturally, what will he do now and how will he readjust, and what he's gained (obviously including Glitch, some).

2. Glitch must have his "rebrainment" surgery, as it's called around here and elsewhere. HOWEVER, beforehand, he and Cain MUST have several small moments of interaction of the BLOSSOMING fluff kind. That is, it's only NOW that they'd start to "explore" their hidden feelings. And of course have them both remain in character. Just make it satisfying enough to make you go "Aww, I want more!" LoL

3. MAIN PLOT FOCUS HERE: After Glitch's successful surgery, with pre-warning that he may/may not be the same or even recall certain things prior to or w/e, make it extra angst-like and heartbreaking. LoL That is, he doesn't remember or feel anything for Cain and is stuffy as Ambrose (also something I've seen be done). Sort of like an amnesia kick, but not really. LoL

Make Cain RELIEVED about it at first. Yes, I said relieved. LoL Why? Just as a "fear factor," that he (Cain) could have begun to feel anything in the love sense for anyone after his great love Adora, so it's breath of relief that it's no longer reciprocal as it'd seemed prior to (so now Cain can just forget about it -- or try to).

But obviously, after a while and having Ambrose act as he will and avoid him some, Cain will feel remorseful, so to speak, and thus begin his "quest" to make Ambrose remember their tight friendship bond and try for more (with several obstacles in the way, please LoL That way, it will be an agonizing love story hehe)

4. MUST be 10 chapter, minimum, 20 max. If you can't manage that (for reasons like you're strapped for further ideas) please let me know and obviously I'll make exceptions. I prefer long stories and long chapters, and one like this, making it so long, would make it extra captivating.

Accepting

I don't care what B-story you implement if at all (that is, create your own little new adventure the whole gang or just the some need to partake in, while Cain's busy with the A-story of him trying to win/re-win Glitch's heart), so long as it STAYS as a B-story and not overshadow the main plot (or be too complicated).

PLEASE no Azkadellia/Jeb pairing if you insist upon doing another pairing in the story. Those two are so unnatural just as much as DG/Cain to me, I can't stand it. LoL You CAN do DG/Jeb if you HAD to, again, have another pairing, I don't care. (THOSE two I can see together if she HAD to be with someone.)
